Rules
oo1. Create a journal for your character and check the taken_characters list before you apply. After you fill out your application please wait at least 1 day for your application can be approved. If two or more days pass then email us again to check in.

oo3. Unless you are playing a created character, remember to 'be true' to the canon you are playing. This SL doesn't allow incest or any kind of canon character getting together with someone who they probably wouldn't get with in the show. For example. Peter Petrelli wouldn't fall madly in love with Isaac Mendez and then attempt to get Sylar to have dirty-dirty sexy-sexy with the both of them. Sorry, that isn't happening here.
oo4. Created or "Made-up" characters are allowed after review of the application for that character. Canon characters are encouraged and needed. More than one character may have the same power--with the exception of Empathic Mimicry which is and will only be Peter Petrelli. However, we'd like to keep it around 1 or 2 with each power and will encourage branching out if a third person applies for it.
oo5. You are only allowed up to (3) characters unless otherwise stated by the mods. That means you can have 2 canon characters and 1 made up OR 2 made ups and 1 canon. You will only be able to play 3 canons if you have showed and keep up an exemplary activity level.
oo6. Before each of your post we ask that you include who: your characters's name, and the name of any the post is open to. where: for now, your choice of cities are: New York, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. when: the timing in relation to other posts, or a date is fine. what: summary, if applicable.
oo7. No OOC business into IC. I've known of a lot of storylines that have this rule and yet sooner or later a fight breaks out about the dumbest things known to man. If this rule is broken there will be no toleration whatsoever.
oo8. Will there be fights? Of course. There will be epic battles. When battling make sure to keep things fair and if you end up in a tight spot then please decide nicely who wins and who fails miserbly. No grudges, please.
oo9. No God-modding. Please, no making characters with SUPER powers and impossible to stop. We all frown upon that.
o10. We are all mature adults and yes, there will be sexual content. Please put all NC-17 material behind a cut.
o11. Remember, Sylar isn't the only villan out there. Try and expand yourself and be a bad guy when there are a bunch of us good guys out there. At times you will have no choice to be a villain when the heroes stack up. It's pretty unfair when you have a billion good guys and one bad guy. Let's be realistic.
o12. Not all characters will start off in the same place. You can start off in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, or in any other place that might be listed above. When creating a made-up you can have them start somewhere else and then have them make there way to wherever someone else might be located.
o13. We ask that you try and post at least once a week. It's really not a lot to ask, maybe an hour (or more!) out of your week. If for some reason there are special circumstances as to why you can't do so, please let the Mods know via email.
o14. One final rule: Have fun! If you're not here to have fun then what are you doing?
